For the specifications of a new product development, FLEX had to find a broad base of tradespeople who were interested in purchasing a particular product and were willing to share their (functional) requirements or preferences.
In the product development process, 40 opinions from craftsmen were collected within a few weeks in response to 32 differently defined questions, which significantly advanced the development process.

His goal: to make user research effective in the manufacturing industry.
